From Lisbon to the Atlantic
Bellhop arranges surf lessons and gear rental in Costa da Caparica, across the Tagus from Lisbon. Lessons are delivered by an independent local surf school, with instruction adapted to your level and the sea conditions.
Prefer an easier journey? Request a private round-trip transfer from your Lisbon accommodation, quoted separately.
Lessons include instruction, a surfboard, a wetsuit and insurance. Rental includes only the equipment you select.
Private transfers are optional and priced separately.

Yes. Tell us your level so the school can confirm the appropriate lesson. Beginners start with ocean awareness, board handling and first-wave technique.

No. A private round trip from Lisbon can be requested and is quoted separately.
The school assesses the conditions and confirms an appropriate alternative session when rescheduling is necessary.
We provide the applicable conditions before you reserve. The service booking payment is made securely via Stripe. If weather or sea conditions are considered unsuitable for surfing by the professional surf school, the lesson will be rescheduled for another appropriate time. For guest cancellations, reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the lesson or course are non-refundable. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the lesson receive a 50% refund of the applicable surf-school booking amount.
